Huddersfield Contemporary Records has been putting out one great CD after another. The label launched last year with Sebastian Berweck‘s CD Extended Piano. At this year’s hcmf, two new CDs were released with the stunning ELISION ensemble, which has been in residence at Huddersfield University. I will be posting discussions of each of these CDs over the next weeks, including interviews with many of the composers. All of these CDs are available for purchase through the university’s online store and through Amazon UK. I thought a holiday season alert might just be in order.
